Fundraising: Orchestra Seats
The Republican reports that the Springfield Symphony Orchestra is offering some special VIP seats on stage with the players. Although you won’t be able to play, the experience should be enthralling for anyone sitting so close to the musicians.
“We thought some people might be interested in seeing the orchestra up close,” said Michael Jonnes, executive director of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. “Of course, there are limitations. They won’t be able to get up once the concert starts, but it’s only 90 minutes.”
The special seats are priced at $100 and include admission to a private reception following the concert. The onstage seats will be positioned so they do not block the view of the audience in the hall, Jonnes added.
