Music City Chorus
10/29/05
Dear Sirs,
As a member of Music City Chorus of Sweet Adelines of Mason City, Iowa, I wish to compliment you on the arrangements you made for us on our recent visit to the nations capital.
It was a first time experience for me, and one that I will cherish. The bus drivers were helpful and did whatever they could to contribute to making this an enjoyable time on our long bus rides and our many miles of touring.
As for our guide Judy Floy, she was truly an exceptional person. Her knowledge shared with us on the many things we were able to see and her consideration for some of us who had to use wheelchairs because of physical problems, was taken into consideration, and none of us had any worries that we wouldn’t be able to enjoy as full and as complete a tour as the more able members. She has a very outgoing personality and for myself, if I were ever lucky enough to visit D.C. again, I would truly wish she were there as my guide.
I hope you will extend my thanks to her for such a great time in Washington. How we were able to enjoy so much in such a short visit was truly remarkable.
Again, Thanks.
Sincerely,
Catherine Mattis – Tenor and oldest member of the chorus.
