Eastern High School in Washington D.C.
The picture above is of Dr. Vincent Patterson and Lori Knapke during the Eastern High School Chorale’s recent participation in the National Festival of the States in Washington D.C.
Dr. Patterson is not only the director of the Rockville Concert Band, but is also Music Celebrations International’s Vice President, Eastern Region. One of his roles is to be present at concerts, hotel check-ins and other important points with groups while they are traveling to Washington D.C.
Lori, the Director of the Eastern High School Chorale, wrote this note to MCI upon her return:
I just wanted to let you know our trip went off without a hitch…
Having an east coast representative really helped things roll smoothly at performance venues.
No complaints on food either, everything was quick and easy, of course we did have the greatest tour guide in all of Washington D.C.!
St. Patrick’s is a WONDERFUL venue. The pastor is very warm and welcoming and the acoustics are splendid.
I highly recommend this venue for choirs!!!
The residents of the Knollwood even had cookies and lemonade out for the students. The kids had a great time talking with them….
My students and I had a wonderful time and I just wanted you to know!
Thanks so much - Lori J. Knapke & the E.H.S. Chorale
