University of Wisconsin Eau Claire Alumni Concert Choir Promotes Peace in the Mediterranean
The UW Eau Claire Alumni Concert Choir recently toured southern Italy and performed as part of the American Celebration of Music in Italy. Concerts ranged from churches to palaces to St. Peter’s Basilica.
A highlight was performing in the Villa Campolieto as part of the Festival of the Vesuvisan Villas. It was a wonderful and attentive audience. As a result of their performance here, they were awarded the prize and a plaque honoring them as the greatest promoter of peace and understanding in the Mediterranean. It was a great honor for Dr. Gary Schwartzhoff and the choir.
