The University of Vermont Concert Band is taking an interesting path to raising funds for their upcoming tour: a Sousathon! This will be a walkathon (a “marchathon,” if you will) where donations will contribute to the band’s 100th anniversary tour to Central Europe, including a performance in Bratislava, Slovakia, sponsored by the U.S. Embassy. At the end of the “Sousathon,” as well as throughout, the band will perform works by the March King!
