All the little things to remember! Please be advised that, as of now, restaurants in Italy (at hotels or anywhere) can refuse to provide tap water when requested by diners. This is as per a new Italian law under the Authority of Health which actually forbids them to serve non-packaged water. So please, remember to bring a little extra money to pay for your beverages, or fill up a large water bottle before you leave the hotel.
