Gulfport High School Band Tours Washington, D.C.

Gulfport band performing at the National World War II Memorial

Traveling to Washington, D.C. and performing in the National Festival of the States concert series was a very good experience for my students, especially after going thru Hurricane Katrina. Most of them will never have an opportunity like this ever again. My personal highlight was watching my students. They were amazed at what they were seeing. The students enjoyed everything. They got a bit fatigued at times, but they loved the tour. The performance at the Old Town Market Square was excellent and the concert at the World War II Memorial was breathtaking – very emotional! The MCI personnel, both in your office and on site were great to work with. I will be glad to serve as a reference!
