Robert E. Lee String Orchestra Part of “America’s Commemorative Orchestra”
Being a part of the 400 piece orchestra under the direction of JoAnn Falleta was toooooooo cool!! I was honored to get to meet her, take a picture with her, and spend a little time visiting with her. She was AMAZING!! It was also very nice to meet some of the members of the Virginia Symphony. My kids were absoluteLEE pumped when President Bush got on the podium and conducted. That is definitely something they will never forget.
Overall, we got to see quite a bit and I am grateful to Music Celebrations for making it possible. Things were extremely well organized – it was evident that much thought had gone into the planning. It was fun and at the same time very educational.
I would be happy to serve as a reference!
