  10. My son is participating in an “event of a lifetime”. I was told that the Independence Day Parade was being televised, none the less I never could find the Parade on TV. Is this being recorded and can I purchase a DVD of it? My son is with the Mississippi All State Lions Band.

  13. For everyone asking about the parade and videos:

    1) No, the parade is not televised nationally. Some of the major networks may choose to show segments, but no network will be showing the entire parade.

    2) The director of each band will receive a video copy of the parade (or their band marching; I don’t remember exactly). I’m unaware of any options for the public to buy a copy of the parade, though.

  14. I’m pretty sure that this isn’t the entire list of bands. A staff person said there were about 40 some bands. One being Park Center High School Marching Band from Brooklyn Park,MN. Go Pirates!
